2 State Championships and 26 Total Medals Earned by Local Athletes at State Track and Field Meet

Saturday ended a very successful State Track and Field Meet for Marion County athletes as three new medals were earned bringing the total over the three days to 26 medals earned including two individual state championships from 71 total events that qualified.

Medal Count Rising For Area Athletes at State Track and Field Meet

Marion County athletes earned an additional 10 medals during day two of the State Track and Field Meet yesterday, bringing the total medal count to 23 in the first two days of competition.

Marion County Athletes Earn 13 Medals Including One State Championship On Day 1 of State Track Meet

Pella Girls and Boys Ready to Hit the “Blue Oval”at Drake Today With Top 5 Team Finishes in Mind

It’s show time starting today for our area track and field athletes as the State High School Track and Field meet gets underway. After finishing 10th in Class 3A at state last year, the Pella boys feel they are a legitimate top five team this year and will be disappointed with less.
