The premier showing of a documentary about the world record-breaking dutch dance at last year’s Tulip Time took place Sunday at the Pella Opera House. Some 200 people came out for the showing of “Step Together” by Oskaloosa producer and Knoxville native Jacob Rosdail. He says he heard nothing but good comments about his work following the first showing. The film highlights the preparations made by organizers and community members in the weeks leading up to the attempt at a world record. Rosdail says he enjoys the opportunity to tell the stories of smaller communities as they are often overlooked. DVD copies of the film are available at the Pella Historical Center.
