Current Marion County Board of Supervisors member Steve McCombs is seeking re-election.

McCombs served on the road department for over 20 years in the county before retirement and will now seek his third term on the Republican ballot for Marion County Board of Supervisors. McCombs tells KNIA/KRLS News that the main driving factor for him seeking re-election is to see through several different projects that he has helped get going over the last couple years.

“As you well know, this board has started quite a few projects to better Marion County. I would like to see those things through to a positive conclusion. The VA District, the Junction 92 shop for the road department, the Adkins development, and Prairie Ridge in Pella. I just would like to see these things through at least to where it looks like they’re heading in the right direction.”

McCombs currently serves on the board alongside Mark Raymie and Kisha Jahner. Along with McCombs, Joe Cunningham and Jim Mueller have also announced that they are seeking election for Marion County Board of Supervisors this year.
