All Pella public offices, including the Pella Public Pool, and pella public library, will be closed on both Thursday and Friday, and resume normal hours on Monday. The banks in Pella will be closed on Thanksgiving day, but will resume normal hours Friday.

138 families in the Pella area will be able to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal Thursday, thanks to a little help from the Pella Food Shelf. Food Shelf Director JoNes VanHecke tells KNIA/KRLS News the “Thanksgiving Meal-in-a-box” distribution took place Tuesday night. The meal packages include a frozen turkey and many of the other food items typically included in a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
