The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad has had two dates on its schedule, and still no results. The Saints season opener was cancelled with Earlham and last night’s game with Mormon Trail was called in the tenth inning due to darkness because Melcher-Dallas does not have lights for its baseball field. The game will be picked up on a date to be determined tied at two in the top of the tenth. In the game so far, Dalton Lovell has a home run. Paul Karpan pitched eight innings with 12 strikeouts and one walk. The Saints will host Orient-Macksburg tonight.
