The Pella boys’ golf team may not have qualified for state as a whole, but they will be well-represented at the state golf meet, because Corey Elliott shot better than anyone in the field on Friday at Bos Landen.

Matching their low team score for the tournament, the Central men’s golf team carded a 300 in day four of the NCAA Division III national tournament to finish with a four-day total of 1209 and placing 12th overall.

Alex Hill delivered a 3-run home run and threw a complete game 3-hitter as Montclair State clipped Central College 4-1 in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Softball Championships last night.
