The Twin Cedars girls and boys basketball teams notched a pair of victories against visiting Mormon Trail – as the Saber girls won 46-31 and the boys stretched their win streak to five games with a 62-51 triumph.
Behind 18 points from Alee Hugen, the Twin Cedars girls were able to improve their record to 7-3 overall and 3-1 in Bluegrass Conference play.
The boys game saw three players reach double figures for Twin Cedars, led by 19 points from Otis Roby. Eric Clark and Cody Moore added 13 and 12 points, respectively. The Sabers are 6-4 overall and 4-0 in league play.
Both Twin Cedars basketball teams are at home today for a non-conference clash with Ankeny Christian Academy.
