The Twin Cedars Volleyball Squad got another step closer to a Bluegrass Conference Championship with a three games to none victory over Seymour last night by scores of 25/20, 25/four, and 25/14.

The Twin Cedars Volleyball Squad stepped out of the Bluegrass Conference and up a couple of classes to defeat Chariton last night in a three games to none sweep 26/24, 25/11, and 25/19.

What was billed as a battle between two teams with strong running games turned out to be a lopsided win for Melcher-Dallas to stay unbeaten on the season as the Saints downed Twin Cedars 50-20 to take back the Marion County Eight-Man Championship trophy.

Twin Cedars won a hard-fought volleyball match over Moravia last night three games to two. The Sabers won it by scores of 25/17, 15/25, 25/20, 22/25, and 15/seven. Alee Hugen led the Sabers with 19 kills while Kassidy Swayne had 20 digs, Ayla Crosby contributed 38 assists and she was also perfect in 25 serves along with Hugen who was also perfect in 20 serves with seven aces. Twin Cedars is now 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in the Bluegrass Conference giving the Sabers sole possession of first place.
