The Pella Police Department has arrested three suspects in regards to theft of copper wire and a van from De Vries Electric. The arrests resulted in 22 charges, ranging from theft, to drug possession. The theft of 8 rolls of copper wire and a van occurred at the end of last month, and the police surveilled the suspected for two weeks after this. On the night of June 15th an officer witnessed the suspects commit another burglary on Hempstead road, where gas was stolen from a vehicle. After this Marion County Sheriff’s Office got arrest warrants for the suspects.  Albert Sorrell, Jacqueline Jones, and Brandon Manwiller, all from Pella, were arrested on the numerous charges. As with any case, a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is innocent unless proven guilty.
