It didn’t come easy but the Pella volleyball team battled to a 3-1 win over Bondurant Farrar in the Class 3A Regional Final last night to advance to the state tournament for the fourth straight year.

The Class three-A volleyball postseason starts tomorrow night as Knoxville takes on Pella in first round action. The Panthers are 16-and-22 and a heavy underdog to the fourth ranked Lady Dutch. Coach Eric Fee says Knoxville must do things better than they have all season long to pull off the upset. He says Pella does so many things well that you cannot point to any one thing that can be taken away. You can hear the live broadcast on AM 1320 KNIA with Derek Cardwell tomorrow night starting with the pre match show at six-45.

The Pella volleyball team enjoyed their best regular season in school history finishing 36-5 overall , ranked 4th in Class 3A, and finished 7-0 in the LHC winning their first outright conference title.

Pella Christian beat Pleasantville last night 3-0 in the opening round of the Class 2A Regional volleyball tournament ending the Trojans season while Pella Christian advances to the quarterfinals next Tuesday.
