Modern technology is changing how grapes are picked at a local winery. Tassel Ridge Winery recently announced the delivery of a new mechanical grape harvester. According to Tassel Ridge Winery Owner Bob Wersen, the harvester will improve wine quality by allowing for quick picking of fully ripe grapes. The unit is about the size of a combine and will be on display Saturday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the winery.
