A woman was arrested on a Marion County Warrant in What Cheer Thursday. According to court documents, 20-year-old Kearstan Schmidt, was arrested on a warrant that stems from a controlled substance violation as well as failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both class D felonies. Currently Schmidt is awaiting extradition to Marion County and is being held on a $10,000 cash or approved surety bond.
