Knoxville Nationals

Posted: Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 at 9:20 am

During the Broadcast on KNIA Radio of the Knoxville Nationals on Saturday, August 15, technical issues unfortunately took our broadcast off the air at approximately 11:00 PM, during the A Main. As our announcers worked to get the broadcast back on, one of our announcers who thought we were still off the air, said some profane words that went over the air. The management of KNIA/KRLS Radio apologizes for this unfortunate incident and apologize to anyone who we offended by this language. We do not approve of or condone language like this. We take a situation like this very seriously and have taken appropriate steps to assure this does not happen again. We hope you will accept our apology and we thank you for your continued support.
