Pleasantville Plays Newman Catholic for Baseball State Championship Today

The Pleasantville baseball team will take on the top-ranked team in the state as look to secure their first ever state baseball championship. The Trojans will battle four-time state champion Newman Catholic today in the Class 1A State Baseball Championship Game at Principal Park in Des Moines beginning at 11am.

Pleasantville earned the right to play in the game by virtue of their 6-3 victory Thursday over North Linn.

Garrett Knock and Andrew Swadner will have the call on 92.1 KRLS and right here on our website.
