A “dingy” captain. A kooky first mate. A Scottish scientist bent on finding the “Red Rock Mess Monster”.

These were some of the many colorful characters who piled onto a 300-foot cruise boat in the 2009 Red Rock Retro Radio Theater’s 2009 Production: “Cruising Lake Red Rock” at the Swamp Fox in Knoxville. Co-director Pat Schrad says tickets for the Sunday show can be purchased at the door before the show starts.

Two more elements marked the collaboration of directors, actors, musicians and sound crew throughout the Theatre’s third-annual production: lots of applause and laughter.
