Wayne Johnson seems to love the 360 Knoxville Nationals. Last year he won a preliminary night and went on to win the whole thing. Johnson took his first step of becoming the third driver repeat at 360 National Champion with a win in night one of the 19th Annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Nationals. Johnson started fifth and by the halfway point was leading and pulling away. He said after the race the track was to his liking and the car felt even better. Shane Stewart who led for most of the first half of the 20 lap race came in second with Billy Alley in third. The points have Alley leading with 490, Tony Bruce Jr. is in second with 483, Wayne Johnson comes in third with 478, then Stewart, and Jason Johnson complete the top five. The points will undoubtedly chance as the rest of the field races tonight. You can hear live coverage beginning with Live Track Side on KNIA/KRLS at six.
