It’s “Ag in the City” coming to town as part of the final Thursdays in Pella of the summer. Larry Rowley, a farmer and one of the event’s organizers, tells KNIA/KRLS News there will be different activities for all levels of family members, including free rides for kids, a variety of food, and a free gospel concert.
The event will also feature a special mayoral challenge, pitting Pella’s Darrell Dobernecker against Knoxville Mayor Harv Sprafka in a “squirt off” challenge at 7:00 p.m. on the Tulip Toren. “Ag in the City” starts at 5:30 and runs through 9:00 p.m. Thursday on the square in downtown Pella.
