Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge was in Knoxville earlier this week, as the guest speaker for the Marion County Farm Bureau’s 91st annual meeting. Judge stressed the necessities of recent cuts in the state budget, and state initiatives to help pork producers affected by the public perception of the H1N1 virus. Raised in Albia and former Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Judge also defended the importance of the I-JOBS program for job growth, among other issues.
