Mark Haywood, President of the Motor Inn Auto Group headquartered in Estherville, announced today that they will be managing DeVore Motors as DeVore Motors until the sale of the dealership is finalized. Haywood says that the acquisition of DeVore Motors is a great opportunity for Motor Inn. He states that Knoxville is a great community and Marion County provides many opportunities. Haywood also says that we will be seeing familiar faces as many employees will be staying with the dealership as ownership changes. Motor Inn expects to employ 30-40 people at their Knoxville location. The dealership will carry the same brands as DeVore, GM, Dodge and Chrysler along with factory parts. Used vehicle inventory will start arriving this weekend and new vehicles will follow shortly. Haywood anticipates that eventually there will be approximately 200 cars on the lot. Motor Inn, which has been in operation since 1937 also has dealerships in Spirit Lake, Spencer, Le Mars, Algona and Webster City.
