Knoxville city employees held their fifth annual chili contest Friday. Jennifer Ethell from City Hall won the contest with 8 votes, not bad for her very first attempt at making chili. Kevin Rogers from the Knoxville Fire Department won second place with six votes and there was a tie between Dennis Webb from the Street Department and Dan Losada, Police Chief for third place with 5 votes. There were a total of 10 entrants this year for the contest and it was the best attended to date.
