Pleasantville qualified five wrestlers into the district this Saturday. Tasker Phillips at 135 and Phil Lumley at 285 pounds were sectional champions, while Micheal Romanco at 119, Jacob Donaldson at 160 pounds, and Chris Ramirez at 171 were runners up. Those five wrestlers will advance to the district meet this Saturday at Eddyville-Blakesburg. Pleasantville as a team finished fourth. P-C-M also qualified five out of the 2A sectional at Woodward-Granger yesterday. Dalton Kingery at 112 pounds, Dustin Moore at 215, and Jake Tool at 285 pounds were all sectional champions while Aaron Peter at 130 pounds, and Drew Peterson at 160 pounds were runners up. Those five will advance to the district in Chariton this Saturday. As a team P-C-M finished second, and that means the Mustangs advance to the team regional duals this Tuesday. However, P-C-M must face defending state champion and nationally ranked Ballard in a first round match at Gilbert. Knoxville and Pella were not in action yesterday as the class three-A teams only wrestle districts. The Panthers will host a three-A district this Saturday. Pella is among the teams that will be in attendance.
