Former Knoxville Softball Standout Kitty Daugherty has been named one of the tri-captains for the Northwest Missouri State Softball squad for the 2010 campaign. Daugherty is a 2007 Knoxville graduate has spent the last two seasons playing for Iowa Central and racked up some outstanding stats. She batted 411 with 13 home runs, and 68 R-B-I in the 2008 season leading Iowa Central to a 52-10 record. She missed much of last season due to an injury. Northwest Missouri State is an N-C-A-A division two school out of Maryville, Missouri and plays in the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
