Norwalk showed no ill effects from their loss to Pella Friday night as they handed Pella Christian a 54-43 loss Saturday afternoon in the final LHC game for both teams and the final regular season game for Pella Christian. Norwalk held a 12-6 lead after one quarter and a 26-21 halftime lead. Pella Christian controlled the third quarter thanks to 3 three pointers from Jon Holwerda that allowed the Eagles to outscore the Warriors 15-9 and gain a 36-35 lead heading into the fourth quarter but the Warriors responded outscoring Pella Christian 19-7 in the fourth quarter to get the win. Pella Christian played without starting point guard Sam Tvedt who is out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in is hand which he suffered at Des Moines Christian, Holwerda led the Eagles with 14 points and Chase Carlson added 11 as Pella Christian ends the regular season 14-6 and now prepares to start the post season tomorrow night hosting Pleasantville.
