The Knoxville City Council swore in an interim City Clerk at Monday’s meeting. Heather Ussery took an oath of office to replace current City Clerk Jody Meyer who will retire at the end of the month. City manager Dick Schrad says he is hopeful that Ussery will work her way into the position permanently but they are not sure yet what will be done with the position and are currently just trying things out.
