The Pella girls cruised to a 61-29 win over Saydel in the opening round of the Class 3A Regional tournament last night. The game was never in doubt as the Lady Dutch jumped out to a 17-3 lead after one quarter and bulit that to a 38-7 halftime lead on their way to the win. Coach Jarod Garland said he was very pleased with their focus all game and how they didn’t look past Saydel.

11 different players scored for Pella led by Courtney kelderman with 14 points including four three pointers, Makenzie Anthoney added 10 and Hali Steenhoek led the team in rebounds with nine. Pella improved to 15-4 on the season and will now host Bondurant Farrar in the Regional Semi Final Saturday at 7pm.
