The Knoxville girls took down Centerville last night in the class 3A Regional semi-final 61-36. The Panthers built a 15 point halftime lead and blew it open in the second half starting the second session on an 11-0 run to make the score 46-20. Lacy Stevenson led three Panthers in double figures with 20 points…Sam Abens had 15 and Alex Abens chipped in ten. Knoxville is now 22-1 on the season and will play Carlisle who upset Dallas Center-Grimes last night Tuesday night at Southeast Polk for the Regional Championship and a trip to the state tournament.
