The Twin Cedars girls fell to top ranked Martensdale St. Mary’s in the class one-A Regional semi-final Saturday night 61-25. The Sabers finish the season 17-6. The basketball carrier of Lindsay Hoehns also came to an end. She led the Sabers with 14 points on Saturday in her final high school basketball game. During her career she broke numerous records at Twin Cedars, she also became just the fourth girl in Iowa five-on-five history to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds. She also earned the E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship which is awarded to one high school girl in Iowa during each school year.
