The Marion County Sheriff’s office reports that a search warrant was issued yesterday at 2466 Story Avenue, Bussey.

During the search warrant officers seized items involved in the manufacture of methamphetamine including, an HCL generator top (tested acidic), pseudoephedrine, lithium battery packaging, muriatic acid, along with drug paraphernalia, a small amount of methamphetamine, firearms and ammunition.

Bobby Gene Marsh Jr. was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail on charges of Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm as a Felon.

Officers with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, South Central Iowa Drug Task Force, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Iowa State Patrol and the Mid Iowa Narcotics Enforcement assisted in the execution of the warrant. KNIA KRLS will bring you more information as soon as it becomes official
