The Central College men’s basketball team will host the championship game of the Iowa Conference tournament this afternoon, and with that, a shot at an automatic berth to the national tournament. The league champion Dutch host No. 2-seeded Buena Vista University, who defeated Wartburg 78-72 in Storm Lake Thursday night. Central split the season series with the Beavers.

With a win this evening, the Dutch would earn the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament – which Central hasn’t made in 15 years.
