A few weeks ago the IHSAA released the new football districts that will be used for the next two seasons and yesterday they released the full season football schedules for the next two seasons.
Pella will play at Newton and host Knoxville for their two non district games and their district schedule includes back to back long road trips to Mount Pleasant in week 6 and Keokuk in week 7 as well as a trip to Fort Madison in week 9. Pella also has a road game at Oskaloosa in week 4. Home games include weeks 2 and 3 hosting Knoxville and Chariton as well as week 5 with Centerville and week 8 with Fairfield.
Knoxville will host PCM and travel to Pella for their two non district games then open district play at ADM in week three. Other road trips for the Panthersinclude Carlisle in week 5 and Saydel in week 7. Home games will include Norwalk in week 4, Newton week 6 and Perry and DCG in weeks 8 and 9.
Pella Christian’s two non district games will be hosting DM Christian and traveling to Van Meter. The Eagles open district play hosting Bondurant Farrar and then begin to log some miles as they head to Clarinda in week 4. PCM in week 6, and Shenendoah in week 8. Home games include I-35 in week 5, Colfax Mingo week 7 and Clarke week 9.
PCM’s non district opponents wil be at Knoxvile in week 1 and hosting Madrid in week 2,
Pleasantville heads to Carlisle and hosts Eddyville Blakesburg for their non district games, Melcher Dallas heads to East Greene and hosts Villisca while Twin Cedars hosts both of their non district games against Murray and East Greene.
