The Park Rangers at Lake Red Rock are offering a pair of programs this weekend aimed at young outdoor adventurers. Park Ranger Tracy Spry will host a “Creatures of the Night” hike beginning at 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Friday’s walk will begin at the Whitebreast Campground entrance, while Saturday night’s hike will start at the Wallashuck Campground.

On Saturday, Spry will also lead a “mucking” expedition at one of the lake area wetlands, meeting at the North Overlook Campground. For more information on either program, call 628-8690 or 828-7522.
