After two weeks of sitting idle due to rain…the Knoxville Raceway Saturday night roared to life with a triple header of sprint car racing. The night got going a little late when the water truck was called on to dump a little more liquid on the track and about a half an hour later racing ensued. The 360 A-Main was won by Chad Humston as he benefited from a late race yellow and snuck by Ryan Roberts on the restart to take the win. In the 410s, Don Droud Jr. had to wait nearly nine years in between wins when he won opening night back in May, he only had to wait about a month to get another as he took the 410 race. Tasker Phillips from Pleasantville won the 305 event. Phillips, whose older brother Rager races in the 410s won his second career 305 A-Main.
