Knoxville will officially open up the Troy Rider Era as the Panthers host P-C-M in week one of the high school football season. Rider has liked the progress his team has made in the last couple of weeks since starting practice and is excited to see what his team can do against another team tonight. Rider says quarterback Bryant McWilliams has been one of the pleasant surprises in the pre season. He says P-C-M will provide a tough challenge because of how athletic the Mustangs are. On the P-C-M side, Coach Dar Dahms says tonight’s game should be a tough hard hitting game. He adds the two teams have had great game in the past and tonight should be no different. Dahms says with a new coach and offensive system…it has been tough to scout Knoxville, so he is emphasizing that P-C-M can do. You can hear the play-by-play of the game tonight on AM 1320 KNIA starting with the pre game at seven. It will also be streamed live on kniakrls.com. In related sports, Knoxville Athletic Director Randy Wilson is asking P-C-M fans to enter Ken Locke Stadium at the east gates, which is the visitor’s side of the stadium. There will be on street parking on Marion Street. There will be two gates in the west side of the stadium, a pass gate at the pool house, and the towers under the press box.
