Now that the large fall/winter event has concluded, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is working to plan their annual banquet. Office Coordinator Melinda O’Field tells KNIA/KRLS news the 2011 banquet will be held on January 29th at the Swamp Fox Pub and Grill. She says all chamber members are invited to gather and enjoy a nice meal and meet the new Board of Directors followed by presentation of the yearly awards. Among the awards that will be given out are Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Educator of the Year, Farmer of the Year and community service awards. Details on times and tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
