The Knoxville boys usher in the Clint Driftmeier era in impressive fashion by nabbing a win over Albia last night 43-39. Driftmeier called the game a knockdown drag out and said both teams played similar style of defenses and did not allow much to go inside. Driftmeier added the ten guys that played really deserved the win. Knoxville was lead by Cory Collins who had 11 points and a big three that all but iced the game with about a minute to go, Jamie VanderVeer picked up ten points. Knoxville is 1-0 on the season and travels to class 2A fifth ranked P-C-M tomorrow night.
