The Clay Township Fire Department, the Knoxville Rural Fire Department and Marion County Sheriff’s office responded to a house fire north of Tracy at approximately midnight yesterday. The house was approximately 1/2 mile north of Tracy and 1/4 mile west of T-25. The proximity of a propane tank next to the structure, darkness and the cold weather made fighting the fire difficult and the scene was under control in approximately 1 1/2 hours. The century farm suffered a complete loss and was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
