Even though Knoxville was hampered by having four guys out of the lineup Saturday at the Montezuma Wrestling Invitational, the Panthers still managed four individual titled and placed sixth overall. Jay Fresh at 103 pounds, Lane Colwell at 140 pounds, Dylan Crouse at 152, and Skylar Spaur at 171 pounds all claimed championships on Saturday. Kieran Robuck was third at 125, Kody Leslie placed fourth at 130 pounds, and Derek Seddon was fifth at heavyweight. Coach Eric Whitcome says the four wrestlers that won titles all put in off season work. He adds that hopefully later this week when the Panthers travel to Indianola the entire line up will be intact.
