The Iowa Area Development Group on behalf of Iowa’s rural electric cooperatives has honored a local company with the Iowa Venture Award. Ewing Land Development and Services in Pella are responsible for purchasing and developing the 25 acre Westport Business Park which helped employee nearly 200 people. Ewing Land Development and Services was nominated for the award by Pella Cooperative Electric Association. The Iowa Venture Award is among the most prestigious business recognition awards in Iowa and has recognized over 180 of Iowa’s finest business leaders and companies since 1988.
