The Pleasantville boys built up a 15 point lead in the second half over Wayne as the Torjans benefited from poor shooting from the Falcons, but still had to hang on to get the win 55-51. Wayne made a furious rally in the last five minutes of the game getting as close as three points with less than a minute remaining. However, Bobby Beier nailed four-of-six free throws in the final stages to clinch the win for Pleasantville. Beier scored a game high 28 points, while Collin Thomas had 12 and Hunter Van Haalan scored 11. Pleasantville is 2-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
