In a back-and-forth battle, Augustana edged past the Central College wrestling team 18-13 before the Dutch recorded six falls, cruising past Knox 49-3 in a double dual last night in Galesburg, Illinois.  

In an early 9-0 deficit against Augustana, Central kept things close with two wins from sophomore Joe Atwell at 149 pounds and junior Josh Atwell at 157. The Vikings added another nine points before Theron Stewart clinched a decision, 5-0, at 197 pounds, giving Jake Crawford an opportunity at 285.  But it was a little too late as Crawford won his match by a 6-2 decision but the team fell short.  

Picking up their first dual win, the Dutch recorded six falls for the second year in a row against Knox. Central received falls from Justin Marx at 125 pounds, Josh Atwell at 157, Jared Hermann at 165, Tommy Van Renterghem at 174, AJ Crone at 184 and Crawford at 285.
