The PCM Boys Basketball Squad likes to run up and down the court and hit between 65 and 70 points per game, but Coach Fred Lorensen knows that is not going to happen every game. In fact, the Mustangs came out of their first two games against Grandview Park Baptist and Knoxville, both victories with an average of just over 77 points. Since then, the Mustangs have rung up 44, 67, and 63 points in their last three games which averages out to just over 55 points per game. Lorensen says while he would like to score in the 70s each night, the games that his team has to grind out make his guys learn more when the points are hard to come by. Lorensen expects what he calls grinders the next three games starting tonight against Pella Christian and tomorrow night against Bondurant-Farrar.
