The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in special session this morning.  Items on the agenda include consideration of approval of a 28E agreement between the county, City of Knoxville and City of Pella in regards to the allocations of the local option sales and services tax revenues and approval of a resolution calling for a public referendum to authorize the imposition of a local sales and services tax in the unincorporated areas of the county at a rate of 1%.

In other business the board will receive an update from the Engineer’s office regarding ongoing projects and operations and discussion and update on the water damage event at the Marion County Care facility and the Care Facility lagoon.

The meeting will take place at 8:30am in the boardroom of the Marion County courthouse.
