Knoxville wrestlers travel to the Southeast Polk Invitational today. Coach Eric Whitcome says this could be one of the toughest tournaments in Iowa as far as the level of competition. He says the Southeast Polk Invitational used to be an invitational style meet…but now is a dual format. Whitcome says his guys will go up against some of the best in the state for the second straight week starting with the host school…Southeast Polk. The Panthers held their own at the Oskaloosa Duals last week going three-and-two. He adds Southeast Polk is the favorite to win the meet with a close second to Des Moines Roosevelt. Knoxville wrestled Roosevelt last week and lost to the Roughriders 65-to-eight.
