The Pella Christian Eagles girls basketball team will remain hard at work over the holiday break. They’ve scheduled two scrimmages for the week after Christmas.

The Eagles will get in some extra work during these scrimmages against Southeast Polk, North Polk. Coach Van Maanen says the scrimmages will benefit the Eagles, as they can see how they’re practice will work during in-game situations and also learn what they need to work on before resuming play for the 2011 portion of the season.

The Eagles will be off for nearly two weeks before they resume Little Hawkeye Conference play against South Tama on January 4th. South Tama is tied atop the conference with Pella, both teams at 3-0. Pella Christian is also undefeated in conference play with a record of 2-0.
