Knoxville endured a tough loss to Oskaloosa in softball last night. The Panthers fell to the Indians 3-2 as Osky scored in the bottom of the sixth and held on for the win. Once again Knoxville was plagued by runners left on base, as a total of ten were stranded.
Coach Steph Christner said the defense played well for the most part, something she adds has improved greatly in the last few weeks. Knoxville falls to 8-15 on the season and 4-5 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Panthers have the weekend off and are back in action on Monday at home against Newton.
