The Pleasantville Baseball Squad has had its ups and down this season. Coach Sheldon Card says consistency at the plate and on the mound needs to improve. He says ace pitcher Colin Thomas has been very good all season long…the problem is the team has struggled with run support. Card says it is still not too late to turn things around. Card adds with postseason on the way, he is hoping to go on a run similar to that of 2008 when the Trojans made a run to the State Tournament. Pleasantville takes on Pella Christian in the first round of the class 2A District this Saturday.
