A memorial service for Goldie M. Blacksmith age 89 of Knoxville will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at the Celebrate Church in Knoxville at 11:00 a.m. Goldie has been cremated and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Williams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. She is survived by a daughter, Brinda Whitlatch, a granddaughter, Cindy (Tims) Sprigss, a grandson, Kevin Whitlatch and great grandson, Calvin Whitlatch, all of Knoxville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Avenue of Flags, Baty-Tuker American Legion Post #168 of Knoxville, Iowa.
