July is National Fitness Month. Trish Worrell, the Wellness Supervisor at the Knoxville Recreation Center, says that this is as good of a time as any to get into the gym and get fit. She says that the Rec Center offers all sorts of different programs, such as the popular dance workout Zumba, Turbo Kick, yoga, cycling, and water fitness programs. She adds that the Rec Center staff is always willing to work with people and see what will be good for them. If you’re not sure about whether you want to try a new class or not, she recommends you come and watch the class for around 10 minutes, so you can see if it’s for you.
