There will be a mine reclamation project field day today at 10am at the Goff Farm. Jack Bensink, who helps with the project, says that the field day will be used to show what the mine reclamation project can do. Bensink says that they are looking for more sites to clean in the area, specifically anything 10 acres or less. He says that through money and help with the Office of Surface Mining, they are able to complete the project at no cost to the landowner. Anyone who is interested in the mine reclamation program is encouraged to attend.
