The Knoxville School Board met in regular session on Monday afternoon. At the meeting, they approved moving forward with forming a leadership committee for the auditorium project. That committee will be comprised of 11-12 people, including leaders in the music and theatre departments, as well as a couple board members and others.

The board approved acceptable use policies for Apple laptops as part of the one-to-one program. They also accepted the resignation of baseball coach Steve Mott. Mott had a career record of 142-74 in his six years at Knoxville, including two trips to the Class 3A state semifinals.
